Chet Kent

Project Planner

Prior to joining the team at Kliethermes Homes and Remodeling, Chet spent time at Linn State Technical College studying HVAC/R and residential electric. He has worked in general carpentry, custom cabinetry,roofing, and garage doors. He earned a Business Administration degree from Columbia College in 2012. He is still actively involved in the Missouri Army National Guard, currently assigned to 1-138th Infantry Battalion in Kansas City, Missouri as a Platoon Sergeant. In his free time, Chet enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. He attempts to play golf and enjoys hunting, fishing and anything that keeps him outdoors.

Karen Wolfe

Interior Designer / Selection Coordinator

As an Interior Designer, Karen enjoys building a trusting relationship with her clients and giving them a home they enjoy spending time in. Over the years, she has worked with many builders to help them create beautiful end results for clients. Karen embraces the constant change in the industry and enjoys putting different components together to create one unique, cohesive design.

Karen received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Interior Design from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has worked in the industry for more than a decade

Keith Shaffer

Project Planner

Keith enjoys interacting with our clients and helping them discover what they can do to turn their dream home into a reality. He loves the creative process and the wide range of different projects he gets to be a part of.

Prior to joining Kliethermes Homes and Remodeling Keith served in the Marine Corps, where he did construction on guard posts and troop housing while deployed to Iraq. After leaving the Marines, he attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, California graduating with a degree in Business Management.

In his spare time, Keith enjoys anything having to do with sports as well outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing, and camping.

Mark Day

Lead Carpenter

Each day, Mark puts his heart and soul into his work here at Kliethermes. Construction has been part of his life for as long as he can remember and he feels extremely blessed to have made into a career.

Driven by his desire to serve the amazing clients of KHR, he gains the greatest satisfaction out of making their biggest dreams a reality. Mark also loves the friendliness and professionalism of his co-workers and thrives in our organized and efficient work environment.

A family man through and through, Mark is in his element when he’s spending time with his wife and two children and also enjoys his role as the Children’s Pastor at his church.

Joe Weber

Project Manager

Joe enjoys bridging the gap from conception to completion. The opportunity to reconfiguring an existing space into something exciting and new. Joe spent 3 summers through high school remodeling. He has 10 years of commercial framing and drywall, Installer/Forman and his expertise does not stop there. At Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling, Joe loves working with a diverse group of individuals who come together as a whole to produce superior results. In his free time, Joe likes spending time with friends and family, participating in the local church community, playing music and getting outdoors.

Greg Toul

Lead Carpenter

Greg began working for Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling in 2010 bringing with him extensive experience in framing, home additions, deck construction and trim carpentry. He truly enjoys the challenge of bringing an amazing concept to reality.

Tim Ward

Lead Concrete Finisher

Tim joined our team in 2001 with over 10 years of experience in a variety of outdoor construction and landscaping projects. With his strong background, he serves clients by assisting in the day-to-day activities of pouring and finishing concrete on all of our new home and remodeling projects.

Les Harryman

Lead Concrete Finisher

Les has been managing the day-to-day operations on all of our concrete projects since 1994. With over 40 years of experience in the field, he is a master at what he does – he will tell you that he just likes concrete.

Raymond Oberhaus

Carpenter

As a Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling Carpenter, Raymond delights our clients by producing the home of their dreams. A perfectionist at heart, he makes sure each job is completed with the thoroughness and attention to detail each homeowner deserves.

Raymond started working in the construction industry as a teenager, working full time after high school. He ran his own company for nine years before coming to work for Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling in 1989.

Tammy Mayuiers

Accountant

As our in-house accountant, Tammy manages all aspects of the financial side of Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling.
She says, “I like to think of the tasks of an accountant as pieces of a puzzle and when everything is done correctly, it all fits together!”

Elaine McCrary

Office Manager

Elaine is our organizational guru and is highly dedicated to giving all of our clients an exceptional experience throughout their custom build or remodeling project.

Joining Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling in 2001, it was immediately evident that her experience in construction business management would be an amazing fit as we continued to grow.

Doug Schneller

Design/Estimating

Doug works closely with clients through the design process to develop plans that will highlight their unique personality while maintaining practical functionality.

Doug used his Design and Drafting degree (Linn State) while working in commercial construction for two years before joining the Kliethermes team in 2001.

While in high school, Doug created two custom homes with his grandfather and focused on using natural materials with minimal waste. He and his grandfather joke that they were “green” before “green” was cool.

Dan Kliethermes

Founder

As founder of Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling in 1976, Dan has centered his career on building lasting relationships with clients. In his current role, Dan oversees daily operations, employee development, and project planning.

Throughout his career, he has enjoyed working with thousands of wonderful homeowners in designing and constructing remodels, and has also been instrumental in the development of new housing subdivisions and custom home construction.

Over the years, Dan has earned his CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) and CAPS (Certified Aging-In-Place) designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as well as countless awards and industry honors.

Cale Kliethermes

Owner

Working for Kliethermes Homes & Remodeling since his teen years, Cale has learned the construction business from the ground up. Cale currently leads homeowners through the creative process of designing their dream homes and oversees all the day-to-day operations of the company.

Cale is a Business Administration and Finance graduate from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and also served in Iraq with the US Marine Corp building secure housing and observation posts.

Cale earned his CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) and CGP (Certified Green Professional) designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
